To our customers and community.

Firstly, we would like to acknowledge the stress and uncertainty being experienced at the moment due to COVID-19 restrictions and lockdown orders. We are doing our best to keep our teams and customers informed as the COVID-19 situation develops.

We take the safety of our staff and customers very seriously and are rapidly evolving our service delivery and work practices to maintain safe and sustainable customer service.

We have the following service updates to share:

As of Monday 16th August our office sites will be closed and we are not facilitating face to face appointments or enquiries.

For our NDIS Customers

As an essential disability service, our NDIS supports for vulnerable customers requiring face to face supports in the community will continue, whilst monitoring the NSW Health advice and following COVID-19 guidelines.

For our Disability Employment and ParentsNext participants

As a temporary arrangement, Job seekers and ParentsNext participants in New South Wales do not have compulsory mutual obligation requirements. This means your payments will not be affected, nor will you incur any financial penalties or demerits.

To ensure the safety of our staff and our customers we are able to provide remote appointments via phone or video conferencing. Scheduled appointments will be conducted via phone – customers have already been advised.

Face to face appointments for our Disability Employment customers if required. Please contact your consultant at CHESS Connect to discuss.

For our employer and business customers

To support the small businesses we work with, we are pivoting to a remote servicing model via phone or video conferencing. If you have any questions we encourage you to contact your Mentor.


Through all of this disruption, it is important to note that we are still welcoming new customers at this time. Members of the community who need our support and would like to enquire about our services are welcome to do so by visiting our website www.chessconnect.org.au and filling in an enquiry for form or calling 1800 899 017 during business hours.
